My work as an English-Russian translator and interpreter combines my love of languages, my background in jurisprudence, art and literature, and my understanding of Russian and American culture. After growing up in a family of artists and linguists in Russia, I earned my undergraduate degree in Russian Linguistics before relocating to the US in 1999. My next step was to turn my language skills into a career, and I earned a Certificate in Translation Studies from the University of Chicago, a Certificate of Paralegal Studies from Gainesville State College and took courses in art history, theatrical design, journalism, and writing at Georgia State University. After working for several years as a paralegal for a prominent Atlanta law firm, I launched my translation business full-time, and served on the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Association of Interpreters and Translators for two years. My work now focuses on legal, art and literature translations and interpreting for demanding clients. I look forward to helping you expand your reach to a Russian-speaking audience!
